Curator’s Recommendation for 24 × 36"
Centered over an 84" standard living room sofa, fireplace mantel, or dining buffet.
The 60% – 75% Rule
In American interior architecture, wall art hung above furniture should span between 60% and 75% of the furniture's total width to anchor the eye without visual imbalance.
57-Inch Eye-Level Standard
Galleries and museum curators consistently hang the center point of any canvas 57 to 60 inches from the finished floor, matching the natural human sightline.
